Duration and Program Flow:

This program includes two eLearning modules that participants complete at their own pace. Participants should expect to spend about 20 hours in the program.

Completion of this course will provide eligibility for you to purchase the BarOn EQ-i®, Golden Personality Type Profiler®, and EQ 360®. For Level B qualification, you must have completed a bachelor’s degree and this course.

Program Overview:

As a participant in this on-line learning experience, you are completing the Wake Forest University Counseling Program course in Tests, Measurements and Interpretation. By enrolling in this program of study, you will be automatically registered with Wake Forest University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and will receive academic credit and continuing education units.

This course has two learning portals: the Tests, Measurements, and Interpretation portal and a Specific Competency Instrument portal. The Specific Instrument Competency focus allows you to practice your knowledge on an instrument of your selection (BarOn EQ-i® or the Golden Personality Type Profiler™).

Completion of this course will provide eligibility for you to purchase the BarOn EQ-i®, Golden Personality Type Profiler®, and EQ 360®. For Level B qualification, you must have completed a bachelor’s degree and this course.

Note that the Wake Forest University Counseling Program has received multiple awards and is widely considered to be one of the top programs.

Program Curriculum:

You will complete modules and download materials on the following topics:

•   Basic Psychometrics
•   Statistical Applications
•   Models and Frameworks of Tests and Measurements
•   Using Tests in Selection and Promotion
•   Interpreting Tests Effectively
•   Meeting Key Ethical Challenges
•   Materials related to the Specific Instrument Competency for which you registered (e.g. BarOn EQ-i ®)

We have included special scenarios for you to work through in this learning experience. You are asked to deal with three key interpretation issues through the professional work of a main character. You will select and act on the challenges as a way to enhance your skill in using these tools.

Our goal is to support your development of those essential competencies that will enable you to use assessment tools effectively in your professional work.
